Abstract

The article analyzes the problems of public procurement, which is to balance the dynamic tension between competing goals. It is determined that one of the most difficult and common issues that need to be solved is the choice of the right number of suppliers for the company that will provide the product or service. Despite the fact that many authors have discussed the pros and cons of procurement from many suppliers, and not one, there is no scientific contribution to this problem specific to public procurement. In this respect, the area of the public sector may be different, as specific rules such as the European Union Tendering Directives are required. It has been proven that flexible regulatory frameworks and a sound approach provide ample opportunity to combine various forms of public procurement to produce a socially meaningful result.
