Abstract
The article considers aspects of sustainable and balanced development of the national economy. Some theoretical provisions relevant to the problem of natural resources have been generalized. Approaches to the natural resources management on the principle of balance have been presented, taking into account the diversity of factors influencing the implementation of decisions at the macro level. The content of the ratio of the concepts of balancing and sustainability in the conceptual framework of the Sustainable Development Goals has been revealed.
